Mudbug Construction is based in Raceland, Louisiana, and we excel in turning dreams into reality with top-quality construction, remodeling, and home repair services.
Trust, integrity, and excellence are the cornerstone of our work. We are a full-service General Contractor for both residential and commercial construction — including building and home repairs, concrete work, remodels, additions, and new builds.
Mudbug Construction was founded by Chad Chauvin and Butch Griffin, two lifelong South Louisiana builders. We are in our fourth year of business, but our owners have been in and around construction their entire lives. Mudbug Construction was born shortly after Hurricane Ida. After watching friends, family, and neighbors get taken advantage of by unlicensed, uninsured, and untrained contractors from across the country, we set out to give our community something better — a contractor they can trust, who stands behind their work.
When we take on a project, we take the time to understand the customer's needs and focus on the details that turn good work into great work.
We are not storm chasers. When disaster hits, we do not pack up and follow the next big payday. We live here, our families live here, and our customers are our neighbors. As Butch puts it:
